Overview of the Payments Ledger

The Payments dashboard (Dashboard -> Payments or /dashboard/payments) serves as your business financial journal, displaying all transactions across all payment methods with real-time analytics.

Key Financial Metrics

The top summary cards track:

Total Revenue Volume: Sum of all completed payments in the site's active currency for the selected date range.
Payment Success Rate: Percentage of successful transactions compared to total payment attempts.
Failed Payment Alerts: Count of failed payment attempts requiring staff follow-up or customer support.

Manual Re-Verification Tool (Instant Status Sync)

If an M-Pesa or IntaSend transaction shows as `pending` due to temporary telecom delays, click the action menu on the transaction row and select "Verify Status". The system queries the payment gateway directly to synchronize the latest confirmed status.
