Point Accumulation & Balance Tracking
The loyalty lifecycle follows a simple, transparent model:
- 1. Earning Points on Purchases: Whenever an order is marked `paid` or `completed`, the customer earns loyalty points proportional to their order total.
- 2. Profile Balance Tracking: The customer's active point balance displays prominently on their CRM profile card in the dashboard.
- 3. Customer Self-Service Balance: Customers logging in via passwordless email OTP on the public storefront can view their available loyalty points balance.
- 4. Cart Discount Redemption: During online checkout, authenticated customers can click "Redeem Points" to apply their loyalty balance as an instant monetary discount.
